One way Replication N to 1

Hi,

Im new to Interbase replicator, im doing One way replication N to 1 that is N source databases to 1 target database. However, the tables in the target database contains 1 more field compared to the source database. The field is call ProdLine which is to identify 1-N source databases in the target database. For instance, for source database 1 will be identified by ProdLine = 1 at the target database, source database 2 the prodline = 2.

Table2 T2

T2 has a INSERT TRIGGER and a DELETE TRIGGER that updates a numeric(15,2) field (f1) in T1.

We are serious about purchasing your enterprise edition but are concerned about the speed. Your replicator process maybe 100 records/min with both the source and target on a local drive. Can anything be done to speed this up.

I have a two way replication between to identical Databases: C: -> D: and D: -> C:. The replication is very slow compared to IBPhoenix IBReplicator. I have tried multiple threaded and non-multithreaded with the same result. How can I get greater speed out of your product ?

If we purchase the Enterprise edition can we use the server on many machines?

We have a commercial application and want to set up many of our users with IBReplicator. If we purchase the Enterprise edition can we use the Server/Manager on many machines without incurring additional expenses (licenses).

Hello,

I have IB Replicator 2.0 build 5.1 running one way 1-to-4 database replication, but replicating only 2 tables.

The problem is:
These 2 tables on the 4 target databases receive updates from other programs and constantly I get the error:

Access violation in module 'transfer_ftp.dll'

I get an Access violation at address 049F21CE in module 'transfer_ftp.dll'. Write of address 0000002A (or some other address). This happens on the data receiving server (offline with FTP) while there are no packages to manage. The replication task activates every 5 seconds. After a while, the whole replication process crashes without any other message. Strange that nobody observed this behaviour. Help !!

Cannot load transfer library in linux

Q: It seems transfer library cannot be loaded under Linux when running ibreplc.

A: strace it and look where transfer_xxx.so is expected. It's probably in /usr/lib
