After automatic update, that could be even unwanted, Windows periodically blasts message forcing restart. It could be extremly annoying when you processing an uninterruptable task. This message may be disabled very easily, just stop service called "wuauserv", i.e. "Automatic updates". Because service is problably set to start automatically so after restarting updates continue working.
