Description:
Connection of a notebook (guest, non-domain) failed - cannot map shared resources of a computer in domain. (NET USE X: \\REMOTE\C$)

1. add remote machine name to hosts
2. add new notebook address in LAN range (it switches card to promiscuite mode, reboot required), now ping should work
3. add WINS server of LAN
4. RESTART cmd.exe (cmd.exe does not accept changes)
5. NET USE X: \\REMOTE\C$ /USER:remote_user

After restarting 4) should work "find computer"

If DNS resolving does not work, check if UDP/IP filtering is not enabled.
